This is a great product, 5 stars, but aesthetically they are a little see-through. You can actually see the gel pads from the top. As far as function and comfort, these are great. They stay cool and are a game-changer for long days in front of the computer.

I used the elbow pads during my long study sessions, and have been taking them with me whenever I go to the library. You need to cut the excess strap if it bothers you, but other than that, it seems to do the job!
