I didn't have any pain I was trying to alleviate, I needed something to act as a “booster seat” at work. My desk is higher than the chair can go. I wanted to sit higher, comfortably. This cushion does that reasonably well. I like the wedge shape that tips me slightly forward (my chair can't adjust in that direction). I thought it would be big enough, and it barely is. but wish it was a few inches wider and deeper. It's pretty comfortable even if a teensy bit small.

This butt pillow is amazing! I have scoliosis and have to be in front of a computer for 8 hours 5x a week. I was having back pains due to my scoliosis and the uncomfortable office chair didn't help. I'm so glad I bought this coz it got rid of my back pains! I love it! And I don't usually write reviews but I'm very happy about this purchase so here it is. LOL! Just buy it!

I do LOVE that this got rid of my tailbone pain from long driving hours in the Trucking Industry. Butt, I'm a smaller than average guy… I mean, like I'm 5'8” and around or below 160lbs. So I'm on the edge of each side and the pillow shifts. Maybe there should be one of those foam thingy's you stick in the crack, I mean like car seat covers have. It's pretty soft and firm, I did notice in cold weather it's like a stiff loaf of bread until it warms up; butt, farting helps.
