I bought these to use on a buckwheat pillow which is noisy, and these cases are quieter than the pillow itself. Its sound reminds me of a diaper, a little like a swoosh sound. The waterproof material is thin, but I poured water on it and nothing leaked through. The terry cloth wasn't as soft as a towel, but just enough to add a little extra comfort to my pillow. They were also a little bigger than my king size pillows which I wanted because the buckwheat pillow adjusts and I wanted the extra room. I'm completely happy with my purchase.

The dimensions are way off. The width is almost 2" wider than the standard size advertised. See photo for comparison. On the bottom is the "Everlasting Comfort" pillow protector and on top is my regular pillow protector inside a standard pillow case
This, of course, would make the cover bunch up inside a pillowcase and make it hard to insert a pillow. Other than the dimension, the quality of workmanship is poor, the zipper stiff and tough to work. Didn't want to force it knowing I am returning the items.

It may be 100% cotton TERRY, though the membrane is plastic. The product insert states 80% cotton 20% polyester. And guess what, no clothes dryer, none, air dry only.

Everlasting Comfort Pillow Protectors arrived to protect my new Bamboo (feels like Feather) Fiber Pillows. So, I had to pull the trigger on some new Pillows after a decade of using my favorite pillows. So, I bought some fairly expensive Luxury Hotel style pillows with a unique bamboo fiber that is soft and breathable. I wanted some equally tech style pillow protectors and after reading the reviews bought these terry cloth exterior with a breathablewaterproof membrane to protect my satiny looking new pillows from sweat stains and accidental spills when snaking in the bed. Hmmmm,,, so,,, I like the looks and they have a lifetime warranty, but wait,,,, is that a defect in the zipper and I've just opened the packaging?? Yep... Defective on arrival. These covers come with a lifetime warranty, but, for $15 I'm not gonna spend much more time dealing with it.
However, I get an email from Everlasting Comfort wondering if I've received my order and whether I'm pleased? I write back telling Rebecca I'm pleased with one case, but, the other was defective and quality control should be improved before sending them to customers. I'm not interested in invoking a lifetime warranty and will just make do with one case's zipper not actually enclosing the pillow. And then Rebecca takes over and replies, Your replacement cases are on their way. That was it. No begging, no photos or videos, no send back the old cases and when we receive them we will send you the replacement. Just, good ole customer…

As fate would have it, when I zipped up the first protector, the slider came right off the end of the zipper. I hadn't even used the product yet and I was already stuck with a protector that I couldn't unzip to wash. So I contacted Everlasting Comfort at the email address provided with the protectors. They responded immediately and within a couple of days a new protector was delivered to my door. You can't ask for more than that.
A certain percentage of new items are going to fail, that's just a part of life. The question is, how will the people that you gave your hard-earned money to respond when you ask them to make good on their word? You can rest assured that Everlasting Comfort stands behind this product 100%.
As for the protectors themselves: I have two rather expensive king pillows manufactured in Canada with alternating layers of down and feathers. The protectors do not in any way inhibit the comfort of the pillows. If memory serves me correctly, there may have been an initial transition when the air inside of the protectors gave the pillows a bloated air cushion feeling. But remember, these protectors breathe. So when I rested on the pillows, within a minute the excess air escaped through the pores of the protector and the pillows felt great!
